Telecommunications facility approved at 184 Brisbane Water Drive, Point Clare

Development Application DA/1618/2025 for a telecommunications facility was approved subject to conditions. The Panel also agreed to vary the Central Coast Local Environmental Plan 2022 building-height standard under the relevant exception provisions.

Consideration of a request to amend the Central Coast Local Environmental Plan 2022 for 945 Old Pacific Highway and 66 Myoora Road, Somersby, the former Old Sydney Town site, was deferred to the 27 October 2026 Ordinary Council meeting.

The planning outcome for the former Old Sydney Town site remains unresolved and will return for consideration.
