Randwick suppliers face recycled-paper rule in three-year procurement deal
Eight suppliers were approved for three-year agreements covering stationery, furniture and janitorial products, with two optional one-year extensions and a 100 per cent recycled-paper requirement in specified categories.
Randwick City Council has approved eight preferred tenderers for stationery, furniture, janitorial and associated products, with agreements running for three years and two optional one-year extensions.
The procurement arrangement requires Randwick Council to use 100 per cent recycled paper stock in Category Two products and in other categories where specified. The condition applies to suppliers accepted under SSROC Tender T2025-12.
The eight successful tenderers are Complete Office Supplies Pty Ltd trading as COS, Direct Ergonomics Pty Limited, J. Blackwood & Son Pty Ltd trading as Blackwoods, Krost Business Furniture Centre Pty Limited, Mediaform Pty Ltd, Sturdy Components Pty Ltd trading as Sturdy Framac, Winc Australia Pty Ltd trading as WINC, and Winya Indigenous Commercial Furniture Pty Ltd trading as Winya.
The agreements will cover each supplier’s nominated categories at its proposed rates. Council authorised the general manager to enter the preferred-supplier agreements under Section 377(1) of the Local Government Act 1993.
The resolution did not disclose a total contract value, individual category allocations or expected annual spending. It also did not specify when the agreements will be executed.
The arrangement covers the products used in council purchasing, including office stationery, furniture, janitorial supplies and related goods. Suppliers seeking work through the panel will need to account for the recycled-paper requirement in the categories covered by the resolution.
Councillors approved the tender arrangement unanimously on 28 July 2026.
