Council welcomed the August 2026 regional plan and noted Waverley’s five-year target of 2,400 homes to June 2029, a requirement for at least 30 years of feasible housing capacity, and directions for additional growth in Bondi Junction, Rose Bay, suburban areas, Bronte Road and Bondi Beach.
