Council decided not to enter a joint-use agreement for after-hours public access to the school playing field because of substantial financial and resource impacts. It will continue supporting the Department of Education’s Share Our Space program and advocacy for shared school facilities.

Rose Bay Secondary College community access supported in principle
The committee noted negotiations with the Department of Education, requested the Mayor seek an urgent meeting with the Education Minister, supported a Joint Use Agreement in principle for public access to the playing field subject to financial and resource impacts, and asked officers for a further report. Council will also write to North Bondi community groups about the resolution.
