Leagues Club Park redevelopment funding direction

The Committee supported, in principle, redevelopment of Leagues Club Park under Scenario D at an estimated cost of $6 million, subject to further grant funding. It sought a future report comparing Scenarios C and D, including funding and maintenance costs, and recommended using section 7.12 developer contributions for the remaining Scenario D cost, applying for a $2 million NSW Better Open Spaces Program grant and other grants, and seeking an extension to spend an Australian Government community grant.

The project remains subject to further design, funding and maintenance information, but could deliver a major upgrade to Leagues Club Park.
