Apex Park public toilet demolition consultation

The Committee recommended that Council seek input from the broader community and local stakeholders about demolishing the Apex Park public toilet in Wyong. A progress report is due on 13 October 2026, and the adjacent school is to be offered an opportunity to address the Committee about the reasons for demolition and antisocial-behaviour statistics.

Wyong residents and nearby stakeholders will have an opportunity to comment before any demolition decision is finalised.

Affordable housing land proposal expanded

Council endorsed adding 8 Ranken’s Court, Wyong, to its Affordable Housing Land Proposal, requested investigation of long-term leasing and other development models, and sought a detailed follow-up report.

The decision may support future affordable housing development and retain Council control over how the land is used.
