Bourchiers Road construction contract approved, with works due to start in April
Nillumbik Shire Council has awarded the construction contract for the Bourchiers Road Special Charge Scheme, with works scheduled to run from 1 April to 28 August 2026.
Construction works on Bourchiers Road are set to begin next week after Nillumbik Shire Council approved the contract for the Bourchiers Road Special Charge Scheme at its 24 March meeting.
The council approved Contract 2526-034 for the project and also authorised finalisation of the contract and limited variations. The decision appears in the public minutes of the meeting held at the council chamber in Greensborough.
For residents in and around Bourchiers Road, the immediate change is that road construction activity is now scheduled from 1 April 2026 to 28 August 2026. The minutes describe the item as part of the Bourchiers Road Special Charge Scheme, a local road infrastructure project.
