Ipswich changes Nugrow approval for compost and regulated-waste facility

Ipswich City Council has approved a change to Nugrow’s development approval for an enclosed compost and soil conditioner manufacturing facility and associated resource recovery operations involving regulated waste.

The change applies to approval 7213/2014/MAMC/E. The approved uses include special industry and a resource recovery facility for storing and redistributing regulated waste. Council approved the change subject to conditions and attachments.

The current application was identified as 7213/2014/MAOC/A. The approval was originally approved by the Queensland Planning and Environment Court in Judgment No. 107 of 2023 and later amended through a minor change application.
