Wyong/Gosford Community Legal Services Incorporated and Jopuka Productions Incorporated received the largest grants, with $5,000 each. The legal service’s funding is for its 30 Years of Free Legal, Central Coast Community Event, while Jopuka’s grant will support its 2026 production, Dear Adults....

Other grants are $1,004 for Wyong Water Polo Club’s Wyong Cup Water Polo Tournament, $810 for Alliance Française de la Côte Centrale to promote and celebrate French language and culture, and $625.42 for Disabled Surfers Association of Australia’s event fees and waste-bin-fees subsidy.
Central Coast Fly Rodders Incorporated will receive $616 to help cover meeting-room rent.
Five applications were declined. Woy Woy Amateur Swimming Club Incorporated, Puwampi Aboriginal Corporation, Amplify Schools Incorporated and Littleroc Incorporated were listed as ineligible. One Direct Connect Limited’s application for its Healthy Ageing & Staying Connected Roadshow was declined because there was insufficient information to make an accurate assessment.
Council will advise the unsuccessful applicants and direct them to alternative funding sources where relevant. It also asked the Community and Culture Committee to review the Community Support Grant Program guidelines.
The grants cover community services, arts and culture, sporting events, facility improvements and accessibility-related participation. The approved allocation is inclusive of GST where applicable.
The funded organisations can use the grants for the activities and costs identified in their applications, while the program guidelines will be considered by the committee at a future stage.
