• No Domestic Violence Walk road closure

  Travel in and around Kogarah may be affected during the event.
• Quarry Reserve precinct concept design
  The committee noted community engagement outcomes and endorsed the Quarry Reserve Precinct Concept Design as the basis for detailed design, including further investigation of two dedicated pickleball courts. Detailed design will examine noise, lighting, landscaping, parking, accessibility, asset lifecycle costs and environmental matters. Construction is expected to be deferred by approximately one year from the current capital-works timing.
  The project is progressing, but construction may be delayed and the pickleball courts are not yet finally approved or funded.
• Park Road corridor investigation
  The outcomes of the Park Road corridor traffic study were noted. Further investigations will assess the design and geometric feasibility of a proposed roundabout at Park Road, Wyee Street and Bayview Street, with further consideration of dedicated pickleball courts, operational issues and possible right-turn restrictions at Ramsgate Road and Park Road. • Synthetic sports fields review
  The committee noted Council's internal review of synthetic sports fields and the NSW Chief Scientist and Engineer's independent review and guidance.   Future decisions about synthetic sporting surfaces may be informed by environmental, health, maintenance and cost assessments.
