Waste Management Strategy implementation update

Councillors received a presentation on progress implementing the Waste Management Strategy. Discussion included about $9 million in revenue from accepting clean fill, use of Class 2 clean fill for landform fill, transport costs to Copping versus disposal at McRobies, and advice that McRobies has capacity until 2045 based on current usage. Members wanted a comparison of costs and benefits across options, and the CEO said an options paper would come back to Council.
