The committee recommended public exhibition of the draft Georges River Commercial Centres Strategy – Part 2 Future Directions for a minimum of 28 days.
The exhibition provides a formal opportunity to comment before the strategy is considered further.
Georges River Council approved major planning, property, transport and infrastructure decisions, including the Jubilee Stadium precinct plan, a Hurstville property acquisition, a $193,189 hospital-project fee waiver and public exhibition of the draft Kogarah Strategic Centre Master Plan.
The committee advanced planning for Jubilee Stadium, commercial centres and Kogarah, and supported preparing a Georges River Active Transport Plan with conditional funding of up to $150,000.
