Shoalhaven City Council has resolved to apply to become Crown Land Manager for the grounds surrounding Warden Head Lighthouse in Deering Street, Ulladulla.

According to the minutes of the 28 April 2026 ordinary meeting, council will pursue the role under arrangements to be negotiated with the Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure, Crown Lands.

The resolution also says council will consider setting up a park care group at the site and negotiate a maintenance fee from Crown Lands.
